BeforeAfterDrag the slider: on the left the original kitchen, on the right the wrap done by VAM Deco.
This kitchen wasn't replaced: it was covered with professional adhesive film (wrapping). Doors, fronts and surfaces completely changed their look in just a few days, with no demolition, no dust and at a fraction of the cost of a brand-new kitchen.
You be the judge of the result: use the slider above to compare the before and after.
Why choose wrapping instead of replacing
- Lower cost: a fraction of the price of a new kitchen.
- Fast turnaround: work completed in a few days, kitchen ready to use right away.
- No building site: no demolition, no rubble and no moving appliances around.
- Tailor-made design: wood, marble, matte or glossy solid colours: hundreds of finishes.
- Reversible: the film can be removed or replaced in the future.
How we work
First we come to see the kitchen (or you send us photos), together we pick the finish from our sample book and we prepare a free quote. The surfaces are cleaned and degreased, then the film is applied flawlessly by expert installers, with great care around edges and corners.
We only use professional films that stand up to moisture, heat and everyday use: perfect for the kitchen environment.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to wrap a kitchen?
It depends on the size and the finish you choose, but generally we're talking about a fraction of the cost of a new kitchen. The most accurate way to find out is to request a free quote: just a few photos and rough measurements are enough.
How long does the film last in a kitchen?
With professional films and proper installation, wrapping lasts on average 7-10 years even in a kitchen, holding up to moisture, moderate heat and everyday cleaning.
Can any kitchen be wrapped?
Almost all of them: smooth surfaces (laminate, lacquered MDF, painted wood) are ideal. We assess case by case any very porous or damaged doors, which may need extra preparation.
How long does the job take?
An average kitchen usually takes 2-4 working days. The kitchen is usable again the same evening and no masonry work is required.
Does the film get ruined by water and steam?
No: the films we use are designed for humid environments. Just clean them with a soft cloth and neutral detergents, avoiding abrasive sponges and harsh solvents.
